Discover the reasons behind Cooperworks’ ability to bring your millwork vision to life. The answers to our most commonly asked questions about how we deliver the optimal partner experience and quality plastic laminate casework every time can be found here.
In 2020, Dennis Cooper, the visionary behind MAC Medical, founded Cooperworks Industries with a mission to expand his 25 years of expertise crafting stainless steel storage solutions into plastic laminate and various other materials. Determined to uphold his commitment to excellence, Dennis invested in state-of-the-art design and manufacturing equipment to bring the same superior quality laminate cabinetry he was known for in the healthcare market through MAC Medical. Along with building a cutting-edge production facility, Dennis handpicked a team of casework experts with combined industry experience of more than 100 years to deliver custom cabinetry solutions and outstanding customer service.
We conduct a rigorous multi-step quality check process on all our products from design through installation:
• Our process starts by working with you to make sure we understand your project requirements so we can translate them into an optimal design that meets Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) specifications.
• We only use quality, US made materials selected for each application.
• Our automated manufacturing ensures consistent product quality. Specifically, our CNC Control Manufacturing Equipment ensures repeatability and accuracy.
• During our process, we check each part with the mindset of “would you put this in your mother’s house?
• Finally, we provide white glove delivery service to make sure your products arrive at your job site labeled and ready for installation.
We start with your architectural drawings if you have them and translate them into finished renderings for you to review. If you don't have architectural plans, our design and engineering team will meet with you to understand your project’s functional and aesthetic requirements and design a casework solution that is tailored to best fit your needs. To make it easier to visualize, we detail each room and every cabinet with three views: plan, elevation, and section views in the layout. We also provide a finish schedule with your color selections and a hardware schedule with your pulls and drawer slide selections for your project.
Our millwork experts will guide you through the entire process from design through installation. Our dedicated project manager will communicate early and often flagging any issues that could affect lead time and resolve them quickly.
A. At Cooperworks, we prioritize the safe delivery of your products. Each piece is individually wrapped, and we use our own trucks for transportation to ensure careful handling. For extra protection, all countertops come with a protective film to guard against damage during shipping and installation. We recommend leaving the plastic layer on until you're ready for the walk-through. Every shipment includes the approved shop drawings, and each cabinet and countertop is clearly labeled to indicate its installation location.
To get a project started, please send an email to Jack Mathews at jmathews@cooperworks.com. If you have architectural drawings, please include them with your email. Otherwise, we will meet with you to custom design a casework solution that best meets your project requirements. Once we finalize the layout, we will send an estimate for the work. Upon acceptance we will get a production spot secured.

At Cooperworks, we are committed to actively managing our carbon footprint and protecting the environment. Our company-wide green initiative includes using recycled materials in our corrugated packaging (36% recycled materials), outfitting our manufacturing facility with LED lighting for energy efficiency, and leveraging our state-of-the-art technology so we can maximize each sheet of laminate or board used in production to minimize landfill waste.
Yes. We have a showroom available, and we can schedule a tour of our manufacturing facility by appointment.
While we can manufacture metal drawer inserts, we recommend plastic drawer inserts because they are more cost-effective. We can provide white plastic drawer inserts in four sizes: 15”, 18”, 21”, and 24” W.
We identify in-wall (concealed) brackets with a red callout on our shop drawing on both our elevation and cross-section views. We want to make sure to alert the installers to install these brackets before the sheetrock.
A backer sheet adds strength to the countertop, allowing you to place support brackets further apart, which reduces the amount of bracing needed. We recommend using a phenolic backer sheet instead of a paper one because it seals the underside of the countertop, providing moisture resistance.
